A. He Lives! "I serve a risen Savior He is in the world today. I know that He is living whatever man may say, I see His hand of MERCY, I hear his voice of CHEER, and just the time I need him, He is always near, He Lives, He Lives... You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart" That tells it all. Celebrate the weekend,
B. Military Weekend. We just finished our first Spouses/children of Deployed Military Retreat. It was an incredible weekend of serving about 100 moms and their children. One mom expressed to me "This was the first time I have seen my child with a huge smile since his father was deployed, He felt like he was treated so special and loved, Thanks for opening your hearts this weekend". Sponsors: Operation Minnesota Nice,Girl Scouts, Kiwanis/Key Club, Bethel University Students, House of Bounce, DAR, DAV, Fastenal, Quilts of Valor, Sams Club,Tee it Up For the Troops, First Student Bus, Blue Star Moms, Jack & Mary Ann Remick, New Life Christian Center. Dale & Doris Urbain, Richard & Marilyn Ozment, The Blagvedts' families, Mike & Gina Lasher.
C. Christianity in Action. We recently had a womens group here on a retreat in the Miracle Lodge. One of the women had to go to town for some supplies. She noticed a gal sitting on a curb with her head down. She struck up a conversation and before long the gal was in her car coming back to the Miracle Lodge. The gal had been in an abusive situation and had no where to turn. By the end of the day the retreat women had purchased a bus ticket to Virginia for her to be with her mom. She was exposed to Jesus love and the good Samaritans. Pray for Brittany.
