Ironwood Springs hosted the first ever Turkey Hunt for the disabled in 2008.  It is a great event for people with disabilities to have the opportunity to go turkey hunting.  We are grateful to the NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) for being our major sponsor.  Most years, we have 8-12 hunters, 15 guides, and about 10 volunteers.  We bagged five turkeys and had another fantastic weekend.  The weekend involves the following...

-Participants will stay overnight in the Miracle Lodge
-Cost is on a donation basis
-Limited to 12 hunters (each hunter will be paired with an able-bodied turkey hunter)
