Learn More picJourney Day Camp: August 1-4
For boys and girls going into 1st- 3rd grade in the fall of 2017

This camp gives young campers an introduction to Ironwood’s Journey youth camp experience without staying overnight. Campers will experience indoor and outdoor activities such as zip line, mini golf, pony rides and archery while learning God’s Word. 




 
Learn More picLaunch: June 19-22
For boys and girls going into 3rd-5th grade in the fall of 2017

During a week of Launch camp at Ironwood your child will experience chapel services, intended to help them learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with God. The rest of the days are filled with other activities, like archery, mini golf, swimming, BIG games, small groups, team building activities, and much more.


Horsemanship Option: Sign up for horsemanship while attending camp at Ironwood Springs. Horsemanship includes indoor western riding lessons and outdoor scenic trail rides. Campers will learn about horse behavior, horse care, horse colors and breeds, how to catch and lead a horse, how to groom a horse and more. The week ends with a certificate and a picture of the camper and one of the horses they rode at Ironwood. Picture and video highlights will be included in the closing program. Limit of 40 participants so sign up early!! Riders must be 8 years of age or older.


 
Learn More picQuest: July 10-14
For boys and girls going into 6th-8th grade in the fall of 2017

For this camp we will be starting our track program where campers can choose to participate in a track for the week of camp. They will have the option to choose from Horsemanship, Wood shop, Art, Shooting Sports, or Cooking. This will be a great opportunity for campers to learn new skills as well as walk deeper into their faith in Jesus Christ.

Learn More picEncounter: June 26-30
For those going into 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2017

Encounter is a week full of community with other campers, staff members, and God. All of our classic camp activities are taken to the next level; along with BIFFER, cabin clean up, big games, and team building activities, many unique and special events are planned. Our speaker and worship team will encourage campers to share what they have learned at camp, and put it to use after they leave camp and enter their personal mission field.

Horsemanship Option: A horse intense camp for youth entering 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2017. Horse activities will include indoor western riding lessons, outdoor scenic trail riding, grooming, saddling, training demonstrations, and more!! The amount of time with horses will increase dramatically from Junior II so don’t miss out!! The week will end with a horse show for parents and family in Castner Riding Arena, a picture one of the horses they rode at Ironwood, a certificate and a T-Shirt. Limit of 20 participants. We require that anyone registering for this camp weigh 225# or less. For the safety of the rider and consideration of our horses this rule will be strictly enforced.



Learn More picSOAR Camp (Spiritual Outdoor Adventure Retreat): July 5-8 
For boys and girls going into 6th-10th grade in the fall of 2017

Boys and Girls camp will be run separately and both will be taught leadership principles while planning and experiencing outdoor adventures in camping, fishing, archery, canoeing and more. Other activities will include devotions, Bible studies, zip line, low events challenge course and a trail ride. Bring your bike. Limit of 20 participants. Boys SOAR camp will be going offsite to do canoeing and camping for part of the week, while Girls SOAR camp will be going offsite to spend a day at Whitewater State Park. 

WRANGLER DAY CAMPS
For kids going into grades 5-8 in the fall of 2017.
Beginner Wrangler DAY Camp: July 31 - Aug 4, 2017
     



 Intermediate Wrangler DAY Camp: Aug 7-11, 2017

The camp runs from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day and lunch is provided. These camps are for riders with beginner to intermediate experience and want to go to the next level. Horse activities will include indoor western riding lessons, outdoor scenic trail riding, grooming, saddling, training demonstrations, leather crafts and more!! Non-horsemanship activities will include devotions and bible studies. The camp ends with a horse show for the parents in Castner Riding Arena. Each camper receives a picture with the camper and one of the horses they rode at Ironwood, a certificate and a T-Shirt. Limit of 18 participants per camp. We require that anyone registering for this camp weigh 225# or less. For the safety of the rider and consideration of our horses this rule will be strictly enforced.
