Dear Friends of Ironwood Springs,

We hope all of you are doing well and are safe during this time.  We are continuing to monitor Covid-19 regulations and guidelines in order to provide the safest environment for everyone.  God has blessed us immensely through the generosity of our supporters and through other means.  We are planning a pretty full summer. You can call our office to find out what the current and future rules may be for holding an event at Ironwood.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a large financial impact on Ironwood Springs with the loss of most of our 2020 and early 2021 income. Pray for our ministry and those we serve, along with our staff, that we would seek God for wisdom, for Him to supply all of our needs and that He would guide us in planning. If you are able, please consider donating a financial gift to help us continue to spread the hope and joy of Christ to the people we serve now and in the years to come.

These are challenging times and there are many unknowns, but we rest in knowing that God is good and faithful and because of that, we persevere. God has sustained Ironwood Springs through the last 43 years and we believe He will continue to sustain us.

Trusting in the promises of God,

The Staff and Board of Directors, Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch

Covid-19 Safety Guidelines for Horse Day Camps
We will be providing the following safety measures to limit exposure to potential Covid-19 spread:
  • Campers and camper's families should ensure they are following state guidelines prior to camp and during camp, including gathering size and travel limitations, wearing masks, and social distancing.  A camper should not attend if feeling ill or if you have been in contact with a person who is known to have Covid-19 and you have not fulfilled the time limits on quarantining.
  • New check-in procedures: campers will be checked via their cars with only the camper getting out of their car and temperature and health checks will be performed daily at arrival.  Campers should not come if they are feeling ill and will be sent home when ill.  Depending on the symptoms, a follow up will be done with other campers if we are notified of a positive test in a camper.
  • Each camper should bring their own water bottle for the week.
  • Campers will be kept outside as much as possible with more than 6 foot spacing.  Campers should bring masks for use should we need to be indoors, which will still be 6 foot spacing in a ventilated room.
  • Lunches will be provided this year.
  • Staff will wear masks when working in close proximity to campers.
  • A Covid-19 waiver will need to be signed by parent/guardian for each camper.
  • We will provide hand sanitizer for use throughout the day when entering/exiting buildings and other appropriate places.
  • Bathrooms facilities will be disinfected daily.
Covid-19 Safety Guidelines for Trail Rides
We will be providing the following safety measures to limit exposure to potential Covid-19 spread:
  • Trail riders should ensure they are following state guidelines prior to riding, including gathering size and travel limitations, wearing masks, and social distancing.  A rider should not attend if feeling ill or if you have been in contact with a person who is known to have Covid-19 and you have not fulfilled the time limits on quarantining.
  • New check-in procedures/distancing: Riders should park in the designated area and come directly to the pre-ride waiting area, which will be marked.  In this area, only family members should be grouped less than 6 feet apart.  Non-family members should maintain a 6 foot or more distancing.
  • Riders hands will be sanitized by staff prior to mounting and after dismounting.
  • Staff will wear masks when working in close proximity to riders.
  • A Covid-19 electronic waiver is provided to fill in after receiving the confirmation email from our registration system.  You should have waivers filled out electronically for each person before arriving.
  • After dismounting, a separate gathering area will be available.  Riders should then exit to their cars.
  • Bathroom facilities will be provided and disinfected daily.
Covid-19 Safety Guidelines for Snow Tubing
We will be following safety measures to limit exposure to potential Covid-19 spread:
  • Only paying customers (and kids 3 and under who are free) are allowed in the snow tubing area (within the fencing).  Extra family members are not allowed.  We have an entry gate and a separate exit gate for leaving the snow tubing area.
  • Snow tubers should ensure they are following state guidelines prior to riding, including gathering size and travel limitations, wearing masks, and social distancing. A rider should not attend if feeling ill or if you have been in contact with a person who is known to have Covid-19 and you have not fulfilled the time limits on quarantining.
  • The warming chalet is not open to customers (employees only).  We have added outdoor shelters and camp fires to help with warming.  We also have outdoor games to play during your tubing session.
  • No hot water/cups will be provided this year for hot beverage.  You may bring your own.
  • Snow tubers should try to keep the same tube throughout their session.  If they need to exchange tubes, there will be a location for used tubes (which will be sanitized).
  • Snow tubers should maintain 6-foot distancing between people of different households, including while waiting for rope tow.
  • Masks are not required but are recommended when snow tubing.  They are required when playing broomball.
  • No chaining of tubes will be allowed this year.
  • Hand-sanitizers will be available in the bathrooms (outhouses).
  • Electronic waivers should be used for groups under 20 people.  If over 20 people, then you can download the waiver form below.
