Food Service Manager

Love serving others through food? We're looking for a full-time Food Service Manager to help run our camp kitchen! You'll plan, prepare, and serve hearty, crowd-pleasing meals for campers, guests, and retreat groups, lead a small kitchen team, and help create a welcoming environment where everyone feels cared for.


This is a great fit for someone who's organized, enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, and wants their work to be part of something meaningful. Food service or kitchen experience is required, but a servant's heart and a willingness to learn matter most.  Serve-Safe Food Manager certification is required.  A full job description can be found HERE.

Kitchen Assistant

Love serving others through food? We're looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant to help in our camp kitchen! You'll prepare hearty, crowd-pleasing meals for campers, guests, and retreat groups, take direction from the Kitchen Lead, and help create a welcoming environment where everyone feels cared for.


This is a great fit for someone who's organized, enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, and wants their work to be part of something meaningful. Food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but a servant's heart and a willingness to learn matter most.  Serve-Safe Food Manager certification will be required but can be obtained after starting work. 


Hospitality Assistant

Do you love making people feel welcome? We're looking for a part-time Hospitality Assistant to help our guests feel at home from the moment they come down the driveway! You'll greet retreat groups, handle check-ins, prepare and clean guest rooms, and help turn spaces over between groups so everything is fresh and ready.

 

This is a great fit for someone who's friendly, detail-oriented, and takes pride in a job well done. A welcoming spirit and willingness to pitch in wherever needed matter most.

Below is a summary of positions available at Ironwood Springs for summer 2026. Some positions require full summer commitments, Often times our staff choose to fill multiple positions if scheduling allows. No matter the role, all staff at Ironwood are prepared to contribute as needed for the benefit of the whole team, and serve campers and guests of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds in a manner that communicates Jesus’ love for them.  To apply, click on the email link below.

 General Summer Staff
  • Summer Staff

    We are looking for youth either going into their junior or senior year in high school or college-aged to help with our programs for disabilities, autism, and military families and also for helping with many of the general camp needs throughout the summer.  You will enjoy working with a fun team while also growing your faith throughout the summer.  Position includes room and board for the summer if desired.  

  • Activities Staff

    The primary role for Activities Staff at Ironwood Springs is to lead guests in a variety of staffed activities, providing a safe and positive experience for all participants.  Our staffed activities include Zip Line, Challenge Course, Slip and Slide, Bouldering Wall, Archery, BB Guns, and Slingshot.  Activities Staff will also provide help in many other spots when not doing guest activities such as cleaning, maintenance, groundskeeping, or kitchen help.  There is potential for staying on site during the summer as part of a team.  

    Approximate employment period would be from early June to mid-late August but will work with you on schedule.  Must be 16 or older.

Equine Program
  • Summer Wrangler

    Summer Wranglers are capable, dependable, hard-working, horse and people lovers! 

    Wrangler horse staff need to have a good working knowledge of how to handle horses and the equipment and proficiently ride at a walk, trot and lope. Summer horse day camps, wheelchair assisted rides, trail rides and more!

  • Trail Ride help

    We are looking for experienced riders who can independantly catch, groom, saddle then ride lead, mid or drag on trail rides. The rides occur during Saturdays in May, some weekdays in June/July and Saturdays in the fall.  Must be customer-service oriented and flexible with hours as the rides are weather dependent. 

  • Equine and Animal Farm Chores

    Seeking dependable, knowledgeable individuals to feed horses and other small animals morning and evening, year round. Weekday, weekend or a combo of both. Must have animal feeding/cares knowledge, and be over 18 years of age unless prior experience of animal care equals 2 years or more .
